Nayagram Nawaj Trust firmly believes that environmental consciousness is the foundation of a healthier future. To spread this awareness, we organized a comprehensive Environment Promotion Camp last year focused on educating the rural population—especially students and families—about the harmful effects of pollution on air and water.
The camp highlighted how common sources like improper sanitation, kitchen smoke (from traditional chullas), decaying organic matter, and industrial negligence contribute to severe air and water pollution. Participants were informed about sustainable practices like proper waste disposal, use of smokeless stoves, and the importance of clean drinking water.
Interactive discussions, poster-making by students, and community clean-up drives were also part of the campaign to inspire action beyond the camp. By addressing pollution at its grassroots level, the program aimed to plant seeds of change among rural communities.
Our mission continues: to nurture a generation that respects and protects the environment every day.
