Patch Work Training Program for Rural Women

In an effort to promote economic independence among rural women, Nayagram Nawaj Trust has launched a Patch Work Training Program aimed at equipping women with valuable vocational skills. Many women in the region are confined to domestic roles and struggle to support their families financially due to limited income sources.
Patch Work Training Program for Rural Women
Recognizing this issue, we established dedicated training centers where women are taught patch work techniques by skilled instructors. These sessions include hands-on practice in stitching, fabric recycling, and crafting useful household items, helping them turn creativity into livelihood.
The program not only boosts their self-confidence but also allows them to contribute financially to their households. Today, several women trained through this initiative have started earning independently, some even taking up local orders and forming small self-help groups.
This initiative has not just transformed their financial standing but also elevated their status and voice within the family.
